A Breathless Adventure Frame 

 W.I.T.T. Lab is a point crawl adventure frame about exploring an abandoned laboratory to figure out just what is going on within those walls. It is suitable for a one-shot, an introductory adventure, or a scenario in an ongoing Breathless campaign.

W.I.T.T. Lab

Winkle Institute of the Toxigenicity Threshold; also called WITT Lab. A laboratory used by the CDC and DOD before the world fell apart. A laboratory on the cutting edge of disease inoculation and eradication. A laboratory with a fair share of controversy, public incidents, and accusations getting swept under the rug.

That was before, of course.

After the Crawlers took over, many survivors saw WITT Lab as the perfect fortification; medicine, antibiotics, food, concrete walls, guard towers. No survivor that entered the walls ever came out again. After a few high profile failed expeditions, WITT Lab was labeled “Quarantined”, and nobody set foot on the property again.

Some mysteries are best left unsolved.

What a Twist!

W.I.T.T. Lab has a pretty substantial twist in store. With that in mind, it is recommended that the only person to read this adventure is the guide, or GM. However, not everybody plays like this, so if your table doesn't like surprise twists, or you're a player that wants to recommend something to your GM, feel free to ignore this suggestion - you are, after all, the head brain of how to play your game!
