That's right, it's time to forget everything that you already forgot about CUPS, and then forget it again, 'cause now, CUPS 4th Edition is here! It looks better than ever, but it's not just a fresh new style that will excite you; we've got a NEW MECHANIC!

Remember spoons? From 3rst edition? WELL YOU SHOULDN'T 'CAUSE I TOLD YOU TO FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNEW ABOUT PREVIOUS EDITIONS. 

Anyway, now we've added PROGRESSION to the game! That's right, after every session, your character gains an extra spoon. Soon, unlimited power will be within their grasp!

So what are you waiting for? Grab some friends, grab some spoons, and get ready for 48 words of CUPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

48 words? What?

Oh haha yeah, I guess that didn't make sense.

See, CUPS was originally created for the 12 Word RPG Jam 3 years ago. The next year, the 24 Word RPG Jam was held, and the 36 Word RPG Jam was held after that. CUPS was only submitted to the first jam, but I've made a new edition during each year's jam, adding 12 more words to the original.

2026 brings us the 48 Word RPG Jam, and that means that CUPS is 3 years old, and 48 words long. 

Wait, I count more than 48 words...

Yeah yeah, okay, hush. The mechanics of the game are 48 words, but there's also an introduction, and for the first time, the licensing information is provided within the game itself, not just on the Itch page. At its heart, there are 48 words of game packed into one little CUPS.
